The rest of the games bosses are so bland but more importantly all there move sets are the exact same they all Just swing swords at you horizantly or verically very slow. The pursuer has a really cool design cool movement and a perfect early boss moveset that teaches you How to properly Parry or roll to defeate enemies. The only Good boss I really loved so far is The Pursuer (the first 2 times I fought him it's getting a little out of hand how many times he shows up.) ( 22 hours in hunters corpse.) The Lost Sinner pushed me to make this thread but more on her in a moment. I want to Stop but I am afraid once I Quit I won't return and I will miss the magic moment the game finaly clicks. Morrigan and some other users who I don't rember the name of Like ds2 and I wan't to see what they see but man I never feel like I am having fun playing this game. But man I am forcing myself to keep playing. even though it'll be quite a while at this rate since I wanted to get through the dlc at least once before moving on.I want to like DS2 so bad clearly lot's of time and effort was put into the games designs and the devs tried a lot of novel ideas. Unrelated Side Note: is it worth the souls spent to power stance dual-wield warped swords And if so, what stats/upgrades should I get for it? Either way I'll have to wait until NG+ to get the other one, but best to know now. Incoming "git gud", "you just suck", etc. I wouldn't have minded a slow increase over time, but the spike in difficulty is like getting slapped in the face with frying pan. You go from 1-2 shotting every enemy into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of enemy swarms full of stunlocking archers, status effects galore, and annoying dual-wielders resistant to basically everything that can easily kill you in 3 hits at most. After reading about it I learned it's best to take on the dlc after defeating Nashandra, but it's still stupid difficult compared to the base game. The first time I tried going through the dlc areas i was uttely destroyed because I tried going through the second I had access to it.
